  • PAN of the HUF
  • Mobile number linked with Aadhaar

  • Business Proof (like utility bill, sale bills or invoices submitted as proof for HUF’s business)


1. Visit the Udyam Registration Portal
  • Go to the official Udyam Registration Portal: https://udyamregistration.gov.in/UdyamRegistration.aspx
  • Click on ‘For New Entrepreneurs Not Registered as MSME (If HUF not previously registered)

2. Aadhaar Number
  • The Aadhaar number of the proprietor (in case of a sole proprietorship) or the authorized signatory of the company or LLP is required for registration.
  • OTP-based verification will be sent to the registered mobile number linked with the Aadhaar.

3. PAN and GST Details
  • You will need to provide your PAN (Permanent Account Number) and GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) to complete the registration.
  • This ensures the business is registered for tax purposes and is operating legally.

4. Business Details
  • Provide details about the business, such as its name, type, location, activity, and nature of the enterprise (manufacturing or service-based).
  • Investment details and annual turnover information will also be required for MSME classification.

5. Submit the Registration
  • After filling in the required details and verifying the provided information, submit the registration form.
  • Once your application is submitted, an Udyam Registration Number (URN) will be generated.
  • The registration certificate will be available for download, which can be used for various legal and financial purposes.
